Don't get me started about how 8 billion people don't care about earth

Earth threw a pretty mild climate to humans then humanity destroyed the ecosystem dumping poison to the atmosphere using fossil fuel and burning down earths lungs and trawling sea floor. A lot of species are gone. We are a joke compared to bees. Lose bees you lose the planet. There's a book about what would happen if humans disappeared. Nature would slowly recover. And by poison? I mean all the carbon dioxide and chemicals and stuff that won't ever disintegrate because it's so complex compound with manmade bonds. I mean forever chemicals and microplastics. Human bites are dangerous too. Does this answer what children should the taught about climate change to a person who says it isn't his fault?

🌍 How humans are “toxic” to the planet (metaphorically)

1. Pollution

  • Air pollution from factories, cars, and power plants
  • Water pollution from chemicals, sewage, plastics
  • Soil contamination from pesticides and industrial waste
  • Noise & light pollution disrupting wildlife behavior

2. Habitat destruction

  • Deforestation for agriculture and urban expansion
  • Wetland draining
  • River damming
  • Coral reef destruction from warming and acidification

3. Overconsumption of resources

  • Overfishing depleting marine life
  • Mining that destroys ecosystems
  • Excessive water use
  • Fast fashion, electronics waste, disposable products

4. Climate change

  • Burning fossil fuels increasing CO₂
  • Methane from agriculture
  • Desertification, wildfires, and melting ice

5. Biodiversity loss

  • Species extinction from hunting, land use, and pollution
  • Invasive species introduced through trade and travel

6. Waste generation

  • Plastic waste that persists for centuries
  • E-waste leaking toxic metals
  • Landfills releasing methane and chemicals

7. Agricultural impacts

  • Monocultures that destroy soil health
  • Pesticides harming bees and other pollinators
  • Fertilizer runoff creating ocean “dead zones”

8. Industrial chemicals

  • PFAS (“forever chemicals”) contaminating water
  • Microplastics spreading everywhere — even in the deep ocean
  • Heavy metals (mercury, lead) entering food chains

9. Ocean damage

  • Acidification from CO₂
  • Oil spills
  • Destructive fishing methods (like bottom trawling)

10. Urbanization

  • Fragmenting habitats
  • Heat islands
  • High energy demand
