Random person2: I tried reading Harry Potter three times, was utterly unimpressed, and gave up on it. Maybe that rock.
Me: grew up with that generation of potter heads. My mom is as old as jkr so it was a perfect substitute for her guidance in my life
Random person 3: The Harry Potter books contain 1,084,170 words. I willing to bet there are billions of rocks well-lived-under that couldn’t identify that phrase. Multiple billions probably.
Me: I read all the books like as many times as you failed to read them. In a couple of languages.
Person3: Yes, obviously. Very impressive!
Me: I was about 13 when I read that book in English for the first time, took me less than that one day. The sixth book I read in a bit over 24 hours nonstop. I haven't read the 4th book in English and the last two in my native language. it's all weird and mixed up but I don't think Hogwarts is my home anymore and I have grown up.
Person4: (loves the saga, probably seen all the movies)
Person 3: Less than one day! Wow. I don’t think I possess the ability to read that fast and retain it all. Very impressive Kajsa. And being able to read in multiple languages would provide some interesting nuance to the material from an artistic standpoint. Very cool.
